REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Employability and Skill Development Organisation (“ESDO”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to maintaining fair and transparent refund and cancellation practices for all examinations, testing services, certifications, and related offerings provided through www.esdo.org.in

By registering for any examination or service, you agree to this Refund and Cancellation Policy.

  1. Refund Eligibility: Users may request a refund within 12 hours of the original application or payment date, subject to the following conditions:
  2. The examination or test attempt has not been started, accessed, or completed;
  3. No certificate, score report, or related service has been issued or utilized; and
  4. A valid and genuine reason for withdrawal is provided.

Refund requests submitted after the eligible period may be rejected at ESDO’s sole discretion.

  1. Non-Refundable Services: The following are strictly non-refundable:
  2. Examination attempts that have been started or completed;
  3. Downloaded or accessed digital content;
  4. Issued certificates, score reports, or evaluation services;
  5. Administrative, processing, or convenience fees, where applicable; and
  6. No-show appointments or missed examinations.
  7. Cancellation Policy
  8. Cancellation Before Examination: If a scheduled testing appointment is cancelled more than 60 days before the examination date, the user may be eligible for a refund of up to 50% of the fees paid, after deduction of applicable administrative and processing charges.
  9. Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 60 days of the scheduled examination date, or after the scheduled examination time, shall not be eligible for any refund.
  10. No-Show Policy: Failure to attend a scheduled examination without prior written notice shall result in forfeiture of all fees paid.
  11. Rescheduling: Requests to reschedule an examination appointment must be submitted at least 48 hours before the scheduled examination time. Rescheduling shall be subject to availability and approval by ESDO. ESDO reserves the right to charge applicable rescheduling fees.

The request must include:

  1. Full name;
  2. Registered email address;
  3. Order or application number; and
  4. Reason for the request.

Approved refunds shall generally be processed within 5 business days to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on banks, payment gateways, or financial institutions. Payments to Universities or skill councils other third parties will be guided by their refund policy

  1. Exceptional Circumstances: Refund or cancellation exceptions may be considered in cases involving documented emergencies or unavoidable circumstances, including but not limited to:
  2. Severe medical emergencies;
  3. Natural disasters;
  4. Government restrictions; or
  5. Other force majeure events.

Supporting documentation may be required, and all decisions shall remain at ESDO’s sole discretion.

  1. Limitation of Liability: ESDO shall not be liable for:
  2. Delays caused by banks or payment gateways;
  3. Losses arising from incorrect payment details provided by users; or
  4. Indirect or consequential losses related to cancellations or refunds.
  5. Policy Amendments: ESDO reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Policy at any time without prior notice. Updated versions shall become effective upon publication on the Website.
